Fifty-seven years ago I was born in McMinnville, Oregon. “So what”, you say. No big deal to anyone except me and mom. But Chef Eric Bechard of Thistle restaurant in McMinnville is opening new digs also in the town of my birth. He calls his newest venture, Community Plate. Chef Bechard is passionate about buying and eating local and has chosen Sacred Sea Albacore Tuna as his house tuna!
